A wider toe box compared to the Metcon 9 allows the toes to expand outwards and helps you maximize power using the entire foot.
We updated the midsole with lightweight ReactX foam to increase energy return. It combines with flex grooves in the outsole to provide flexible, responsive cushioning during high-intensity workouts like box jumps and fast sprints.
A tough, grippy texture strategically placed in the midfoot and toe area — areas of greatest wear — provides revolutionary grip and durability. A new traction pattern offers a flat, grippy surface for lifting, even on the sweatiest surfaces.
The midfoot band helps keep your foot firmly on the footbed by tightening the laces. Combined with a sturdy heel counter and a lace-up system, it allows you to focus on executing the movements, without shifting or slipping.
Technical mesh with open perforations provides breathability. The rubber midsole lining is more fitted, lightweight and less bulky than on the Metcon 9. A sturdy plastic heel clip provides durability for handstand push-ups.
